Labour Unions in Nigeria led by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) are set to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike tomorrow.
The Nigeria Labour Congress has declared that it will proceed on its scheduled industrial strike tomorrow, despite its meeting with the Federal Government today.

The leadership of the NLC met with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, in Abuja hours ago to reach an agreement, but the meeting ended in a deadlock.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, stated that the meeting ended in a deadlock as the parties failed to reach an agreement, adding that the industrial action will hold as earlier announced.
He also called on schools, banks and the private sector to join in the nationwide exercise.
The meeting between the minister, tripartite committee on minimum wage and labour leaders, was called to address the concerns raised by organised labour, but it failed to reach an agreement.
The strike resumes Tomorrow!
