DEMBELE EARNS BARCELONA A POINT

Diego Costa scores first league goal of the season

Ousmane Dembele came off the bench to salvage a point for Barcelona, Diego Costa's goal looked set to give Simeone his first league victory against Barcelona as Ter-Stegen did nothing to stop his bullet header from going in but Dembele ensured that Diego simeone would wait longer for that win as he returned to the match-day squad after being suspended for their last game for coming late to training. He was brought on late in the second half and he found space in the box in the last minute and his low shot was able to find it's way past Filipe Luis and Jan oblak to find the net.

Barcelona dropped to second in the league, one point behind Sevilla as they seemed lucky to have avoided back to back defeat for the first time under  Ernesto Valverde.
