BOWEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS BEGIN PROTEST OVER DRUG TEST
The university suspends 200 students for refusing to take a compulsory drug test
We all know hard drugs is fast becoming a vice in Nigerian universities, one of the most notable higher institutions in Nigeria, The administratives of Bowen University has asked student to take a compulsory drug test and if found wanting would face disciplinary action.
Some students of the university have staged a protest against the administrative of the university that the students must undergo a compulsory drug test.
Despite the protest, the management is insisting that the affected students must face disciplinary action.
According to a viral video released online, one of the rooms on the first floor of the boys hostel was set ablaze with rumors that the vice chancellor of the school Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole has just suspended 200 students including those who refused to take the
drug test.
