MANCHESTER UNITED HELD BY SOUTHAMPTON

PRESSURE CONTINUES TO MOUNT ON MOURINHO AS POOR FORM CONTINUES

Manchester United had to battle back from 2-0 to force a 2-2 draw with southampton at the saint-Mary's stadium. The visitors had different injury problems in defence and were forced to use Nemanja Matic and Scott Mc Tominay as makeshift defenders and it backfired as they found themselves two goals down after just 20 minutes.

Lukaku pulled one back for them after an individual brilliance from Marcus Rashford was able to set him up to finish past the keeper for his first premier league goal since September.

Herrera saved a point for them after yet another brilliant work from Rashford and he was able to flick it past the goalkeeper.

Mourinho has promised to finish in the top four by the end of the year but that seems like a really ambitious dream with the way things are going at the club.
