TOTTENHAM'S PERFECT START COMES TO AN END

Tottenham and watford looked to keep their winning run in the premier league intact but it seems there was only room for 1 of them to continue on a high as Watford came from behind to win 2-1. Surprisingly, Tottenham looked a very disorganised as they played a boring 0-0 in the first half but in the 52nd minute Tottenham were ahead thanks to an own goal from Doucoure, but the lead didn't
last long.

Just after the hour mark, Watford's main man in Troy Deeney headed in  the equaliser from Jose Holebas freekick on his 250th appearance for the hornets.

Tottenham didn't create any threat of their own and found themselves 2-1 behind in the 75th minute as Craig Cathcart converted from a Jose Holebas corner giving Watford their first league win over Tottenham since 1987. Watford's win over Tottenham ensured that this is only the second time in Watford's history that they have Won the first 4 matches of a league campaign and their first time to do it in the premier league as the previous one was in the second tier of English football.
