Georginio Wijnaldum scored his first away goal for Liverpool as the reds held to keep their perfect start intact,  Wijnaldum opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 39th minute after a series of headers from a corner kick but Tottenham failed to clear their lines as Wijnaldum planted his header over the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper got to the ball but he was just too slow as the ball had crossed the line before he was able to put it out.

In the 54th minute, Liverpool got their second after a good work by Sadio Mane from the left wing who squares the ball for Roberto Firmino but his initial effort was saved by Vorm but he couldn't hold on to the ball as Firmino lashed in Liverpool's second.

Vertoghen ensured Firmino wouldn't be able to cause more damages as his hand was unintentionally stuck deeply into Firmino's eye which looked like a very horrific scene as he had to be substituted out.

In the closing stages of the game, Erik Lamela came off the bench to score a consolation goal for Spurs, altough they threatened to equalise, Liverpool held on to make it 5 wins out of 5.

Another interesting thing from the match was the fact that Mane had a good chance to pass the ball to Salah who was clearly unmarked free and would have definitely scored, he passed the ball to Keita who wasn't free and ended up failing to get anything good out of the ball. This has resulted to Liverpool fans annoyance with Mane and some suggesting there's a beef between Mane and Salah with others suggesting Mane is jealous of Salah but we can't know yet so you have to keep in touch with us if
