TRAGEDY AS CORP MEMBER DROWN IN GUBI DAM SEVEN DAYS TO PASSING OUT PARADE

October 10th 2018 spelt doom for a 2017 Batch B stream1 corp member named Adebayo Joseph  serving in Bauchi, as he was in the euphoria of passing out in a week time, went for a mini Excursion (Picnic) at Gubi Dam and that was the last that was heard of him as he drowned and his body is yet to be discovered.

It was gathered that a picnic was organised by members of his batch posted to similar place of primary assignment; Bauchi Internal Revenue Service (BIRS). It was also gathered that while at the dam, they canoe in which joseph and three others boarded  allowed inlet of water and in the course of trying to bail out the water, the canoe capsized plunging three of them and the person in charge of the canoe into the water. It was also gathered that, while the two Corp members ( a male and a Female) luckily made it out, He couldn't and all efforts for him to be rescued proved abortive, as there was nobody readily available to help rescue him not even the locals showed concern.
