MULLER RECEIVES CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BAN

BAYERN STAR TO MISS LIVERPOOL'S CLASH

Thomas Muller will be forced to watch both legs of Bayern munich's clash with Liverpool from the sidelines  after receiving a two match ban due to his red card in the final group game against Ajax. That was the first time in his career that he had been shown a straight red card. He was sent off during the 3-3 draw with Ajax after hittng Nicolas Tagliafico with a head-high challenge.

 Muller quickly apologised to Tagliafico after the match stating that there was no malice in his tackle, he posted on social media: " I would like to apologise to Nico Tagliafico, there was no intention, get well soon".
