ARSENAL SHOWS FIGHTING SPIRIT TO DEFEAT TOTTENHAM
AUBAMEYANG ON TARGET AGAIN AS VERTONGHEN SEES RED
Aubameyang scored twice to help Arsenal fight back to win an action packed derby at the Emirates stadium. Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead in the 10th minute from the penalty spot after Jan Vertonghen stopped a cross with a raised arm in the penalty area. Spurs found themselves level after 30 minutes as Leno couldn't stop Eric Dier's near post header from a Christian Eriksen free-kick after which a quarrel occurred among Arsenal substitutes and Tottenham celebrating players. Four minutes later, a controversial penalty was awarded to Tottenham and Harry Kane sent Leno the wrong way from the spot.
Lacazette was brought on at half time and he pulled Arsenal level after a lovely pass from Ramsey.
Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead as a brilliant pass from Bellerin found Aubameyang who curved a stunning first time finish pass Lloris.
Torreira added gloss to the scoreline with his first goal from the club as Aubameyang sent a through ball slicing past the Tottenham defence to find Torriera who slotted it past Lloris. Vertonghen was later sent off in the closing stages to mark a terrible day for Spurs.
Amazing performance from torriera, arsenal's best player this season so far for me
