BARCELONA CRUSH ESPANYOL 4-0 IN THE CATALAN DERBY

 MAGICAL MESSI SHOWS WHY HE DESERVES A BETTER RANKING AT THE  BALLON D'OR

Lionel Messi produced an incredible performance as league leaders Barcelona demolished Espanyol 4-0 in the derby. Messi was placed fifth in the recent Ballon d'or ranking as it was the first time he has been outside the top three since 2006 but he showed them he deserved better as he was outstanding for Barcelona. Messi opened the scoring for them with a stunning free kick and then few minutes later, Barcelona got their second as Messi was able to find Dembele who scored with a superb curling finish.

Dembele sent Suarez through and the Uruguayan beat the keeper from the near post for their third goal.
