Eden Hazard was an inspiration for Chelsea as he scored one and set up another as Chelsea secured a hard-fought victory over Brighton. Chelsea defeated Brighton 2-1 as Hazard scored a brace in this fixture last season and he yet again seemed to be their nightmare as he stunned Brighton in the first half. Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea after an amazing play from hazard and the Belgian doubled their lead with his first goal in 8 matches.

Chelsea was in search for more goals as Marcos Alonso hit the woodwork but their efforts were to no avail, Solly march pulled one back for Brighton but Hazard hobbled off late in the match to set up a nervy finish but Chelsea stayed calm to collect all 3 points.
