2019 BUDGET ESTIMATES HAS BEEN APPROVED BY FEC

The estimated 2019 budget was approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) today during a special session of the council inside the Council Chamber of State House Villa, Abuja.
At the end of the meeting, The Minister of Budget and Planning Udoma Udoma said the estimated budget for next year has been approved and will soon be forwarded to the National Assembly.
When he was asked to give details on the estimates that were approved, the minister refused with reasons that ''it will mean usurping the powers of the president, the president will present it to the public himself.''
The minister also added that President Buhari is also working with the National Assembly to select a date for the President to present the Budget.
