SALAH SETS NEW LIVERPOOL RECORD
EGYPTIAN KING IS THE FASTEST LIVERPOOL PLAYER TO REACH 40 PREMIER LEAGUE GOALS
Mo Salah smashed another Liverpool record as his opener against Bournemouth was his 40th premier League goal in just 52 appearances which means he has reached the milestone in fewer games than any Liverpool player in the club's illustrious history. In the history of the competition, only Alan Shearer and Andy Cole has reached 40 goals in fewer games both needed just 45 games to reach that milestone. Salah's 40th Premier League goal came after Begovic couldn't hold on to Firmino's long range strike and the Egyptian tapped in although he seemed offside.
