MOTHER AND CHILD DEAD IN GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT

A mother and child were both burnt to death in a ghastly motor accident along Lagos\Ibadan expressway

A ghastly motor accident occurred yesterday afternoon around 2:50 pm which involved a total of 15 people, 9 injured, burnt a mother and child to death.

The vehicle was coming from Iwo Road Ibadan, heading towards Lagos when the accident occurred at Onigari axis of the Expressway.

The public relations officer, Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi,Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abeokuta.

THE WHIT PRADA BUS

Mr. Akinbiyi reported that the accident was caused by a tyre that burst while the vehicle was in motion which resulted in the vehicle falling on its side before erupting in flames.

The vehicle in question is a white Mazda bus with registration number EKY616XW.

The TRACE spokesman explained that the two dead victims were taken to Ade-Oyo Hospital Morgue, Ibadan, while the injured were taken to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu.
